By 5th grade, my body was already changing in ways my friends' weren't. My weight was climbing, my mom worried, but no one really knew what to do — or what to say.
What I remember most from those years isn't the number on the scale. It's the feeling of being different. I avoided mirrors. I avoided cameras. I spent a lot of time wondering why my body felt like the enemy.
One moment stays with me from 9th grade. I wore a red dress to a dance. When I saw the photos afterward, I felt completely disgusted with myself. That moment pushed me into a decision I thought was a solution.
I stopped eating. As the weight dropped, people started noticing me more. In my teenage mind, that felt like winning. I thought I'd finally cracked the code. But the reality was very different.
I battled eating disorders and extreme habits for years — desperately searching for a way to feel okay in my own skin. Extreme restriction, extreme exercise, extreme thinking — none of it was ever going to get me where I actually wanted to be.
Eventually — slowly, painfully, and with a lot of unlearning — I realized something that completely shifted my path. The war with my body had to end. Not because I gave up. But because the fight itself was the problem.
That realization is what started my real wellness journey — and eventually led me to become the coach I always wished I'd had.
Today, Katie is a wife to a wonderful, Godly man and a mama to four champion boys. She holds a BS in Health Education, a Certified Health Coach credential, a personal training certification, and has spent over 20 years helping women find healthy, realistic, sustainable ways to care for their bodies — without extremes, without sorry.
And even with all of that knowledge, the credentials, and the years of experience — she was still lifting weights, training consistently, eating well, doing everything right on paper — and still couldn't get her body to fully respond the way she knew it should.
Then she added one thing.
A peptide.
After adding peptides to an already-solid foundation of training and nutrition. Not a crash. Not a gimmick. Her body finally started working with her instead of against her.
Her energy came back. Her inflammation dropped. And the food noise that had been running in the background of her brain her entire life — the constant mental math, the guilt, the second-guessing — finally went quiet.
She'd been on semaglutide and tirzepatide for three years before she finally found a way to access them affordably through EllieMD. The moment she did, she knew she couldn't keep it to herself.
The Game On Community exists because Katie found her missing piece — and she refuses to keep it to herself.

Ironman training, marathon running, extreme restriction — she's done it all and she's done with it. Extremes are not the answer for busy women who want a life, not just a body.
The constant mental math. The guilt over a piece of pizza. The obsessive tracking. That's not normal and it's not your fault. Freedom from food noise is possible and it's the goal.
Most women aren't stuck because of willpower. They're stuck because they're missing specific information. Peptide education, hormone knowledge, perimenopause truth — that's what she teaches.
Not managed. Not coached through templates. Genuinely seen, honored, and supported. That's the kind of community she's building — and the standard she holds herself to every week.
A plan you can live with will always outperform a perfect plan you can't. Everything Katie teaches is designed to fit into a real life — not replace it.
The women who succeed aren't the ones with the most willpower. They're the ones with the right community around them. That's not a nice-to-have. That's the whole point.
"You have so much light. I opened up because of how comfortable you made me feel. You inspired me, helped me get unstuck, and figure out my purpose."
"I had been stuck at the same weight for over a year. Katie showed me exactly what was missing — and it worked. 12 pounds in 6 weeks."
"You helped pull that vision and passion out of me. I want to sit on my deck, look at my lake, and say — yes, I did this. So very thankful."
